Bugatti reveals its new BICYCLE… and at £32,000 it costs more than your average Brit’s car

Designed to partner the new Chiron supercar, Bugatti's latest project will be the talk of the bike lane

FOLLOWING the recent reveal of their ultimate supercar, Bugatti have released a bicycle to rival all bicycles.

Designed as a partner to the high-powered Chiron, the French automaker has once again paired with luxury bicycle manufacturer PG to create a supreme cruiser for the lucky elite.

, the bike's entirely German-made components are "handcrafted using prepreg materials and methods otherwise found only in motor sport and the aeronautic industries in order to guarantee the lightest weight and highest rigidity possible.”

Limited to just 667 models worldwide, each bike is entirely customised to the owner's specifications, available in range of colours and types of leather to match it perfectly to their own Chiron supercar.

Of course, the ride comes with a catch: it is likely to follow its PG x Bugatti predecessor and retail in a similar range of £32,000 (US$39,000). But did you really expect any less from the creators of the £2.08 million beastly road rocket?

With the average amount spent on a new car by Brits in 2016 not much more than £20,000, the two-wheeler is certainly not for your everyday cycle lane commuter.

In fact, according to the Bugatti disclaimer, it is not even intended for road use.

"The special bike is a piece of sports equipment which is not intended to be used on public roads," PG's website warns.

A combination of Bugatti design and PG development, PG founder and CEO Manuel Ostner described the project as "the ultimate bicycle to go with the ultimate car; ultimate in design, workmanship and performance."

Going on sale later this year, the bike is not the first addition to the exclusive Chiron range.

Earlier this month, the company showed off their 66-foot Niniette carbon fibre yacht which also seeks to complement the world's fastest road car.
