M25 traffic: Britain’s busiest motorway grinds to a halt due to triple lorry crash with queues for miles

BRITAIN'S busiest motorway has ground to halt after a triple lorry crash sparked traffic chaos.
Part of the M25 has been blocked at the Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire border after three HGVs crashed shortly before 11am.
Traffic was held after the smash on the anticlockwise carriageway between junction J17 (Rickmansworth) and J16/M40 and J1A (Uxbridge).
Motorists have been backed up in queues stretching on for miles.
National Highways warned: "Emergency services are leading at scene.
"Delays in excess of 30 minutes on approach."
Diversion routes were put in place briefly when the carriageway was closed.
Traffic has since been released anticlockwise, but two lanes out of four remain closed for recovery.
The smash happened around ten miles north of Heathrow Airport.
Thames Valley Police said three lorries were involved and there were no significant injuries.
