London Motor Show reveals some seriously sexy cars – complete with eye-watering price tags

THE Aston Martin Valkyrie and Lamborghini Aventador S headlined the opening day of the London Motor Show.

Returning to Battersea Park after its debut 12 months ago, the show included a host of UK exclusives to wow fans, including the official naming of a new model.

The London Motor Show showcases everything from affordable family hatchbacks to lavish supercars as well as tuners, parts suppliers, dealers and restorers.

Leading the way is the Aston Martin Valkyrie which houses a 6.5-litre V12 capable of producing a staggering 900bhp and just 150 will be built.

Deliveries for the hypercar are expected in 2019 with a price tag of anything up to £3 million.

The Lamborghini Aventador S is the brand’s flagship model with 750bhp from its V12 engine – an upgrade on the car it replaces.

The Italian supercar is capable of hitting 217mph and will set you back a cool £270,000.

British design company David Brown showcased two cars – its new Mini Remastered, an updated version of the iconic 60s model worth £75,000 and the Speedback GT which harks back to past Aston Martins.

Rolls Royce wasn’t to be outdone either with the special Black Badge edition of its £250,000 Ghost.

The mean looking black paintjob outside is hiding a luxurious interior with bold purple trim and the Brit maker’s trademark starlight ceiling.

The Alpine A110 also made its UK debut and was yet another reborn model that points back to a glorious past.

Based on the classic Renault sportscars of the 60s and 70s, the A110 will be on sale in the UK in early 2018 with a price tag of £50,000.
