Amazing home-grown LEGO creations of legendary rally cars and stunning supercars that could be hitting stores soon
Recreating some of the most beautiful cars in history from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti, these LEGO creations could be hitting shops with your support
A CAR enthusiast and LEGO fan is hoping his designs of some of the most legendary and priciest supercars in the world make it onto the shelves.
Featuring in the Speed Champions set by AbFab1974 is a Peugeot 205 Group B rally car that won back-to-back titles in the 80s and a Bugatti Type 57SC - a version of which sold for $40 million in 2010 making it the most expensive car in the world at the time.
The designs were submitted through LEGO's Ideas platform which allows people to create their own models, upload them and receive votes.
Those that receive 10,000 "support" votes will then be reviewed by LEGO bosses with a view to making a real commercial product.
A Caterham 7 made it onto sale through the Ideas scheme last year and there's currently a Jeep Wrangler, Land Rover and VW Golf GTI being considered for production.
