The 10-tonne truck wouldn't look out of place on the weekly rubbish bin collection - but instead it's winning the toughest races in the world

TRUCKS shouldn't be able to do this.
But weighing in at 10-tonnes with a 1,000bhp engine, this Red Bull-backed Kamaz monster isn't your average dustbin collection lorry.
Known as the "Terminator", it's the latest truck produced by two-time Dakar rally winners Team Kamaz Master.
Fearless driver Eduard Nikolaev is back at the wheel of this secret project that'll tackle the Silk Way Rally in July.
The rally is a gruelling 10,000km two-week trek across Russia, Kazakhstan and China.
To put the truck through its paces before the big race, Nikolaev took it to the frozen reaches of Russia.
Accelerating the 16-litre diesel up to 140kph (86mph), he's able to fly through the air for 30 metres creating a mind-boggling 12G of force.
Thankfully, the specially-studded Continental tyres held on upon landing and Nikolaev was off onto the next heart-stopping leap.
Nikolaev, 32, said: "To test the truck we went to Kirovsk, in the Murmansk region, to one of the snowiest regions in Russia.
"There, right through to the late spring, there’s a lot of deep snow.
"For our Kamaz-4326, these conditions are very similar to driving on the sands of South America or Africa and for the team this is great training in the skills of driving on the coming ‘silk’ dunes."
