Behind-the-scenes glimpse of Little Mix with the Ford Mustang that plays a starring role in new Power single

WHAT do you get when you combine the biggest girl group in the world with the world's best selling sports car?

A hot new video for a single by Little Mix called Power that's set to storm the charts with a little help from the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350.

And we've got behind-the-scenes footage of Leigh-Anne, Jesy, Jade and Perrie sharing the big screen with the muscle car.

The song Power, featuring Stormzy, was released on June 9 and is the latest single from the band's chart-topping album Glory Days.

Th song lyrics focus on female empowerment with Little Mix's mothers appearing at the end of the video.

And with 526bhp from a 5.2-litre V8 engine its fair to say the Mustang fits the bill for a song all about power.

The girls teamed up with the Ford Mustang on location in Los Angeles and were amazed by the sports car with its red metallic paint job and black racing stripe.

Little Mix, who are currently midway through the European leg of a 17-country world tour, said: "The Mustang was amazing. Sexy and cool with a beautiful interior."

The girl group aren't the first famous faces the Mustang has met, either.

The muscle car has an impressive showbiz CV since its launch in 1964 having starred in more than 3,800 movies and been name-checked in countless songs - probably most famously lending its name to classic Mustang Sally.

Greg Dawson, vice president communications and public affairs at Ford of Europe, said: "We loved the idea that one of our Mustangs would appear in Little Mix’s new video and were only too happy to help."
