The £3million Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar revealed ahead of 2019 launch – and it’s designed by F1 legend Adrian Newey

THE stunning Aston Martin Valkyrie has been revealed with a fresh set of images - including a first look at its interior.

The drop-dead gorgeous hypercar - worth an estimated £3million - won't be ready for the road until 2019.

But that hasn't stopped potential buyers with the limited run of road legal models already snapped up.

In fact, demand for the Valkyrie was oversubscribed by four times despite the need for a £500,000 cash deposit to secure one.

And who could blame the super-rich for wanting this slice of history.

The Valkyrie has been penned by Aston's top designer Marek Reichmann AND aerodynamic expert and Red Bull F1 genius Adrian Newey.

The underneath of the car is filled with carbon-fibre cut-outs and tunnels to generate huge downforce.

And this is the first time we've got a glimpse of the interior, too.

Seats are mounted straight onto the carbon cockpit and drivers will have have a "feet-up" driving position - just like a F1 or Le Mans car.

Most of the surface is carbon fibre with only a few buttons on the console and a central touchscreen.

The racing steering wheel with buttons and toggles to adjust driving modes is removable and there's a screen on it detailing all important driving info.

Door mirrors are done away with and instead two screens attached to cameras replace them.

There's a four-point seat harness as standard while an optional six-point belt can be specced if you're taking the masterpiece out on track a lot - and why wouldn't you?

The Valkyrie comes with a 6.5-litre V12 Cosworth engine matched to a seven-speed paddle-shift gearbox.

It's expected to produce close to 1,000bhp while a track only model will likely top 200mph and 0-60mph in just over two seconds.
