This driver’s parked pick-up truck keeps getting fined by traffic cameras – for speeding!

A MOTORIST has been hit with at least ten speeding fines in his own street - and every time his car has been completely stationary.
The New Orleans resident is constantly being issued with fines because the parking spot where he leaves his pick-up truck is directly in the path of a speed camera.
Donald Schulz parks his truck legally outside his house on Canal Boulevard, but has copped the blame on more than ten occasions since 2011 when another motorist has broken the 35mph speed limit.
If another driver happens to speed through the section of road, Schulz's registration plate often gets picked up by the camera and automatically sends the fine to him instead.
Each time the unlucky motorist is sent a fine of between £52-£77 ($75-$110).
And even Schulz's family have been affected by the camera blunder, as both his wife and sister have fallen victim to the mishap with their own cars in the past.
Schulz “It’s a nuisance. I've had to take time out of my day several times and go down there and correct the situation.
“It got so bad that years ago I even had a (telephone) number of a person (in the traffic violations office) so that if I called them directly I didn’t have to go down there.”
Schulz hasn't been forced to pay the tickets, but has to go through the process of having them corrected each time.
On his most recent fine from just last week, the corrected comment reads: "Ticket error, car is parked (and) not speeding. Wrong car cited.”
And according to Schulz, he isn't the only person affected by a speed camera error.
He said: “This problem probably exists all throughout the city.
"When I went down there in 2013, an elderly gentleman was in the same situation.”
Late last year, we revealed that speed cameras can actually catch you for a range of offences other than just speeding - but of course, legally parking in front of your own home isn't one of them.
The cameras are also able to detect illegal number plates, passengers not wearing seat belts and people using their mobile phones behind the wheel.
Between August and November in 2015, nearly 700 motorists in the north east of England were caught by traffic cameras for offences other than speeding.
