BMW has unveiled the brand new X7 - a seven-seater 4x4 that is full of tech and a plush interior.
Starting from £72,155, the first-ever X7 hopes to take on the Range Rover Sport and Mercedes-Benz GLE when it goes on sale in April 2019.
The largest of BMW's X range, the new 4x4 is 5.2 metres long, 2 metres wide and 1.8 metres tall.
Although it comes with seven seats as standard, a six-seat 'Individual' option is available for £595 extra, Sun Motors has learnt.
It has two independent seats with armrests in the middle row (pictured), as opposed to three.
BMW are yet to release images of the seven-seater option, but initial pictures show a luxurious interior with a Merino Ivory White and Night Blue colour scheme.
While the seats and door panels are full leather, the roof lining appears suede-like.
Three-glass sunroofs make the X7 seem even more spacious, and they also include BMW's Sky Lounge feature - LED lights that illuminate more than 15,000 graphic patterns to create a starlight effect.
Climate control is divided into four sections, with the optional Ambient Air package providing eight different scents.
Cup holders also cool or warm drinks as required, and you can also wirelessly charge your phone on the centre console.
The optional Rear-Seat Entertainment Professional system will fit two 10.2-inch HD touchscreens into the X7, along with a Blu-ray-compatible DVD player, two USB ports for each the second and third row of seats, a HDMI socket and two headphone jacks.
In terms of driving tech, the X7 comes with a Reversing Assistant that will automatically manoeuvre the car out of a parking spot.
BMW's Intelligent Personal Assistant also comes as standard - which will adjust basic car settings such as the temperature when saying "Hey BMW, I'm cold", or start the sat-nav when promoted by phrases like "Take me home".
Three X7 models will come to the UK - the entry-level diesel xDrive30d, the petrol xDrive40i and the sporty M50d that costs from £87,240.
Boot capacity is 326 litres and increases to 2,120 litres when the two back rows' seats are folded down.
