ALFA Romeo savagely takes down rival car makers Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz in three new adverts.
The 30-second clips feature cliche American businessmen trying to sell their executive motors to buy Alfa's Giulia, with the sporty Quadrifoglio model making an appearance at the end of each ad.
Actor 'Dan' first tries to sell his Audi A4 Quattro, mockingly praising the model for having a button that reads 'Car'.
When calling the contact number to supposedly buy the A4, a voicemail says: "Hey, what's up? It's Dan.
"If you're calling about the Audi, it isn't really for sale - that was just a video I made for my interns to show them that you can sell anything.
"Besides, between you and me - if you're looking for the real deal, you know, a set you apart from the pack kind of car, you need to get yourself an Alfa Romeo Giulia."
BMW 3 Series 'owner' Doug also boasts about its "heated seats for your buttocks" and the sub-woofers that'll "get the cul-de-sac bumping".
He said in his own voicemail message: "Hey, it's Doug. Thanks for calling - erm, listen - I know I told you a lot about that BMW, but it's not the car you want.
"I mean, maybe you do, but if you're looking for something that can really perform, please just go to AlfaRomeoUSA.com and check out the Alfa Romeo Giulia. It's fast, it's Italian - so forget about the BMW, actually there is no BMW."
Finally, shouting Shawn tries to sell his Mercedes C-Class C300 by listing its hi-tech features, including directions to get a lobster roll.
Alfa captioned the YouTube video with: "IT’S SHAWN!!! BUY MY MERCEDES! IT HAS SO MANY FEATURES! THEY CAN ALL BE YOURS! I’M SCREAMING BECAUSE I’M SO EXCITED FOR YOU! ALSO CAPS LOCK GOT STUCK ON MY COMPUTER!"
Shawn's voicemail also said: "Guys, it's Shawn. Listen, I'd love to save this Mercedes, but it's not really for sale. What can I say, I'm a person with a conscious.
"I know if you bought this car, you'd be just like me six months from now; finding yourself on AlfaRomeoUSA.com at 3am checking out the Alfa Romeo Giulia... Wondering what it's going to be like when you finally get behind the wheel of that thing, take off and never look back. Man, I can't wait - got to go."
The Giulia Quadrifoglio has received glowing reception, including being named the best sports car of the year by WhatCar?.
It's available from £62,500 on the road, with the entry-level Giulia Super starting from £32,490.
