Build your bike skills with track-day training from former Grand Prix and multiple British champion Ron Haslam
The Haslam school has multiple levels – from beginner, for anyone aged 12 or older, up to elite-level training at high speed on the full circuit at Donington Park
TRACK-riding is not just a great way of getting a legal fix of speed and adrenaline.
It is also a great way to build confidence and develop skills you can use every day on your bike, wherever you are riding.
Lots of bikers out there are riding unaware of the true potential of their bikes.
It is also fair to assume that there are lots of riders who lack confidence and end up having accidents because they are tense when they ride.
That is where rider-training facilities such as the Ron Haslam Race School can help.
Ron Haslam is a former grand prix and British champion, who has shaken more talent from his boots after a ride than most of us will ever possess.
He is also the father of 2018 BSB champ Leon Haslam.
The Haslam school has multiple levels – ranging from beginner sessions, for anyone aged 12 or older, all the way up to elite-level training at high speed on the full circuit at its Donington Park home.
Each level comes with everything you need to enjoy the day, including a bike. Honda supplies brand new machines every year – everything from the CBR125 all the way up to the mighty Fireblade.
After the usual safety briefing, you will have your kit checked – full riding gear is supplied, including a helmet and insurance – and then you’re good to go.
PILLION LAPS
The instructors have done this plenty of times before so they’ll know if you want to go faster or slower and can give you exactly what you’re looking for.
If you have never ridden a bike and want to try one in a safe environment, or if you have been riding for years and just want to brush up on your skills, this is the place to go.
