The Petersen Automotive Museum in LA is giving automotive fans the chance to get up close with futuristic vehicles from the big screen

SOME of the best movie motors of all time are being put on show in a new exhibition.

The "Hollywood Dream Machines: Vehicles of Science Fiction and Fantasy” exhibit at The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, USA is a car geek's fantasy.

Launched on May 5, the experience displays props and vehicle models from classic cult fantasy and science fiction films.

From Batman and Terminator to Jurassic Park and Blade Runner, the bizarre vehicles bring to life the futuristic worlds of Hollywood's most iconic titles.

The famous DeLorean from Back to the Future will sit at the centre of the exhibit, which runs until March next year.
