Film legend Elizabeth Taylor’s iconic green Rolls-Royce is set to fetch £2.8m at auction
ELIZABETH Taylor’s luxury Rolls Royce is expected to fetch £2.8million in an auction of the Hollywood legend's belongings.
The smoke-green bespoke creation, dubbed the Green Goddess, is on display at The Pierre Hotel in New York until the auction begins.
The seats were also dyed a similar colour, and the car transported Taylor to Rome, where she filmed “Cleopatra.”
The Rolls will be auctioned at the Pierre Hotel on 61st Avenue on Tuesday, August 6 at 10.30 a.m. and will be on display over the next two weeks.
Liz, who died in 2011 aged 79, ordered the car after her 1959 wedding to singer Eddie Fisher, the fourth of her seven husbands.
Her 1960 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II convertible isn’t the only thing to go on sale, with her Versace dress and Louboutin evening bag also being up for grabs.
