A GANG of teenagers armed with "poles and knuckle dusters" tried to smash their way into an Aldi store before staff fought them off using their belts.
Shocking video footage shows the group of youths try and break the front door using a fire extinguisher.
Terrified witnesses said the teenage gang made up of boys and girls behaved like a “pack of animals” in the store in South Ruislip, West London, last night.
Brave staff could be seen removing their belts and fighting back as the gang tried to force their way in.
In the footage a man could be heard asking staff: “Do you get paid enough for that?”
They looked to be after one staff in particular

Witness Emma Downing told : “I had the misfortune of witnessing the staff get brutally attacked by a large group of young teenage youths, boys and girls, who behaved like a pack of animals.
"They had poles and knuckle dusters for weapons. I went to my car for safety and to call the police, I made them aware of the situation

Heather NeillMc wrote on the My West London Facebook page: "Three employees had their faces smashed and blood was on the floor.
"Crutches were used as a weapon, a fire extinguisher and anything they could get their hands on".
No arrests have been made.

Aldi said it doesn’t comment on ongoing police investigations.
A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called on Monday, September 30 at approximately 6pm to reports of a disturbance and assault in Victoria Retail Park, Ruislip.
“There were reports of a group of youths assaulted members of staff at a supermarket, threw items and damaged property.

“Officers attended but all suspects had left the scene. No reports of serious injuries.
“Enquiries continue to identify and trace those involved.
