Woman confronts ‘weirdo’ man who was taking pictures of her legs in London’s Chinatown

A YOUNG woman confronted an elderly bearded man who she believes took 20 photographs of her legs as she walked through London’s Chinatown.

Ollie O’Neill, 24, was strolling through the busy part of the capital when a woman tapped her on the shoulder to tell her a man was taking covert pictures of her.

She furiously demanded he deleted the images from his phone but he simply told her she should be “proud” of her legs while claiming to be a university professor from Oslo.

Ollie screamed and shouted at the man – wearing a bright red polo shirt and jacket – and said: “Don’t f***ing take photos of me in public, you f***ing weirdo.

“I’m wearing tights, delete the f***ing photo. You’re not going to delete the photo, what the f*** is wrong with you?”

'DELETE IT!'

However, he replied: “Is there something particularly wrong with that? You should be proud, you should be proud.”

She hit back: “I should be proud? What the f*** is wrong with you? Delete the f***ing photo of me you f***ing freak.

“Delete the f***ing photos of my f***ing legs right f***ing now. Do you f***ing understand?

“I will not walk around and have some f***ing weirdo take photos of my f***ing legs. Delete them.”

He then agreed to delete the photographs after claiming that he only wanted to “study” them.

She posted the video of the incident on Twitter and it has since been retweeted more than 8,000 times.

She wrote after that she was “really shaken up” and has reported it to the police.

“The woman was so lovely and kind and gave me a hug and let the staff in the store know to look out for him.

“I’m sick of women having to look out for each other this way. I’m so f***ing tired.

“'You should be proud. You should be proud.’ That’s what really f***ing got me.”

A Met Police spokesman told The Sun Online: "Police spoke to a woman on Monday after she had made contact about an incident in Gerrard Street, W1 that had taken place at around 5.30pm that day.

"An appointment has been arranged with a view to establishing whether any criminal offences have been committed."
