Girls aged 14 and 16 arrested for ‘murder’ of widower, 81, released without charge
TWO teenage girls arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of an 81-year-old man have today been released without charge.
Widower Pat Marron was found dead at his home in Wisbech, Cambs, on Saturday and cops detained the pair, aged 14 and 16, over his "unexplained death".
Neighbours desperately tried to resuscitate Mr Marron, known as Paddy, after he collapsed from a suspected heart attack.
Locals said he died in a hammer raid at home after being tormented by teenagers every night for six weeks.
However officers have today said a post-mortem examination has concluded the pensioner died from natural causes.
NO FURTHER ACTION
Cambridgeshire Police said no further action will be taken against the girls.
Earlier this week devastated neighbours told how “four or five” teens had congregated outside the grandad's home “every night for six weeks”.
He was so concerned he even put up dummy security cameras and had a sign which said “Danger: loose dogs” in a desperate bid to stay safe.

A 12-year-old girl and a man of 20 were also arrested in connection with the incident and were released with no further action earlier this week, police said.
