A WOMAN who frantically called a friend at 3am saying she was in danger has been missing for more than a week.
Adrienne Quintal, 47, was at a rural family cabin in Michigan, US, when she made the desperate call on Thursday morning.
Her friend then called the police, who arrived at 2.58am, just 13 minutes after the first call was made.
But when officers arrived at the cabin in the tiny village of Honor, 250 miles west of her Detroit home, they found no one there.
'POSSIBLE FOUL PLAY'
Cops said they had "observed evidence of possible foul play" but weren't sure whether Quintal - who goes by Ada - was "missing voluntarily or in danger".
The missing woman's mobile phone, purse, keys and vehicle were all left at the cabin, WPBN reported.
Her son Nick White told "He was up there with her, he came home to drop supplies off, we are working on the condo here.
"She was also just getting ready for hunting and hanging out and enjoying the wildlife."
Nick said his mum's boyfriend, who has not yet been identified, had returned home to on Wedneday to her home in Southfield, Detroit.
Cops have extensively searched a swampy area surrounding the cabin but had failed to find a trace of her.
They also launched a $5,000 (£3,900) reward for information from witnesses that could help progress the case.
