A YOUNG woman has shared her mortifying text message mishap with her new boss - demanding Chinese takeaway in the form of a animoji of herself as a hungry pig.
Issie Carmody meant to send the message to her boyfriend but instead sent it to her new manager, who she had known for just two days.
The makeup artist shared the video to her Facebook page, writing: "Guys I’m actually f***ing mortified... I recently got a new manager at my work, and Ive known her for TWO days!"
She added: "I wanted to send my boyfriend an Animoji of me as a pig saying that I wanted a Chinese... well ... I’ve sent it to my new manager and it’s the most idiotic video I have ever created."
When she realised the mistake, Issie immediately messaged her boss to apologise.
She explained: "I sent it and had a bad feeling in my gut that I had done something wrong.
"Looking up I saw my boss’s name and that’s when I realised I made a huge mistake.
"My heart and stomach dropped! I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
"My boss was very understanding and said that it made her and her husband laugh a lot!"
In a hilarious twist, her boss replied: "I hope he gets you one."
And the story ended well when Issie let everyone know that her boyfriend did indeed pick up a Chinese takeaway.
Posting a photo of the meal, she said: "Guess who got her Chinese finally."
