Guy Fawkes Night celebrations see Brits carry flaming tar barrels through streets as fireworks light up skies

GUY Fawkes Night is going off with a bang tonight as youngsters carry flaming barrels of tar through the streets in a traditional celebration.

Devon's most dangerous event - the Ottery St Mary Tar Barrels - sees locals carry flaming barrels coated in tar through the town's streets ahead of the bonfire night.
