Kevin Hart feels ‘different’ and wants to get back to his old self after near-fatal car crash
KEVIN Hart said he feels like a "different version" of himself just two months after a horrific car crash nearly took his life.
On his SiriusXM radio show Straight From the Hart, the 40-year-old comedian told how the near-fatal accident gave him a greater appreciation for his loved ones, reported.
Hart revealed that his wife Eniko Parrish had to help him in the bathroom during the "humbling" recovery process.
"I could not f**king move," he said. "I literally I couldn't do none of that."
The actor suffered three spinal fractures in early September after his 1970 Barracuda muscle car crashed into a ditch in Malibu Hills.
He was hospitalized for 10 days before entering an inpatient rehab facility for physical therapy.
Hart shared a touching Instagram video chronicling his recovery. Nurses are seen helping the actor as he uses a walker to stand.
In the video, he explained the agonizing effects of the crash and cautioned fans not to take life for granted "because tomorrow's not promised."
Hart made his triumphant return to the stage at this year's People's Choice Awards, where he received a standing ovation as he accepted the award for Comedy Act 2019.
