PRINCE HARRY and Meghan Markle won't attend the Queen's pre-Christmas parties this week.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to stay out of the UK with baby Archie until the new year.
They are said to be spending Christmas with Meghan's mum, Doria Ragland, at an unknown location abroad.
Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, will not be at Monday night's Buckingham Palace Christmas bash for royal staff,
They are also said to be missing the Queen's traditional turkey lunch for extended family on Wednesday.
But their absence isn't a snub and they have told the Queen about their plans, sources told the paper.
CHRISTMAS BREAK
One source said: "As the couple made clear a few weeks ago, they are taking some time away together as a family.
"This means that they will miss Christmas events."
The Sussexes are on a six-week break from royal duties at the moment.
Some royal officials had hoped they would return for this week's events.
Harry and Meghan have attended the annual staff Christmas party at Buckingham Palace in previous years.

The Queen pays for the party herself to thank her royal staff.
Her Majesty is also set to host a pre-Christmas feast for family at the palace on Wednesday before going to Sandringham for the festive period.
Last month, The Sun revealed that Harry and Meghan wouldn't join the Queen for Christmas.
They had chosen to spend baby Archie’s first festive season away from Sandringham.

Harry has always spent Christmas at the Queen’s Norfolk home, except for 2012 when he was in Afghanistan.
For the past two years he has been joined by Meghan at Sandringham.
