Grandmother, 70, repeatedly Tased by cops on her birthday after they say she resisted arrest

SHOCKING footage shows a 70-year-old grandma being repeatedly Tased by cops who say she resisted arrest the day after Christmas.

Police zapped Barbara Pinkney with a stun gun three times on her birthday when she wouldn't allow them into her home to search for her grandson.

reported there were visible injuries on the grandmother's body and she said she's been traumatized by the incident.

She told the station: "We heard a knock at the door. Actually, there wasn’t a knock. I think they kicked the door. Bam! Bam! At the door.

“I was just hollering. I was scared. I didn’t know what else to do. I was just hollering."

Pinkney demanded a search warrant according to the affidavit, but cops told her it wasn't needed when they had an arrest warrant.

An officer warned her she could be booked if Turner was inside, but Pinkney would not open the door.

A struggle ensued which resulted in her being Tased and told she was going to jail.

Screaming can be heard in the disturbing video as Pinkney refused to put her hands behind her head.

Documents say the cop fired after Pinkney pushed him in the chest, striking her once with the stun gun in the left arm and again in the back.

This was when the cop "took her to the ground" but she still resisted placing her hands behind her back, according to the affidavit.

The officer then reportedly struck her in the upper back but the weapon didn't have an effect on Pinkney.

Documents show he "secured" her with his knee as another cop handcuffed her.

Although she claims he was never there, officials think her grandson Turner may have gotten away during the "chaos."

Pinkney was charged with obstruction and battery on a law enforcement officer.

Her court date is set for Jan. 17, 2020 and Turner has not been located.
