AN AMUSED woman revealed her stern-looking cat is a dead ringer for First Lady Melania Trump in a funny video.

Cordelia Richards, 25, was relaxing at home with her stepmom Joanne when she pointed out the uncanny resemblance between the family's sassy cat Sophie and the .

"[She] looks like Melania Trump," insisted Joanne, who didn't waste any time taking out her phone to prove it.

In the hilarious footage, she compares the aloof feline with a picture of Donald Trump's wife and is adamant the Canadian cat is the absolute image of her - leaving Cordelia in fits of laughter.

A bemused Sophie continues to channel her inner Melania, nonchalantly cleaning her coat and ignoring them.

When she begins to headbutt the screen with Melania's picture, Cordelia quips she's "looking at her mam, right?"

Speaking about the comical comparison, she said: “It was the first time I'd ever heard the cat looked like Melania, but Joanne has now told me she has been saying it for months.

“When she made the comparison, I just about lost my damn mind laughing because I could see it immediately! The resemblance is uncanny.

“I do believe Melania is very beautiful and so is Sophie. It was just so random; I couldn't stop laughing!"

Cordelia said her stepmom Joanne was delighted when their hilarious video of a slanty-eyed, unimpressed Sophie broke the internet.

"She's so proud of herself for going viral, she even started crying," Cordelia revealed. “I just think this is the funniest thing ever!”

Surely Melania is also feline fine about the comparison.
