KEN Jennings is the greatest Jeopardy! player ever.
Jennings was crowned the champion of the show's first-ever Greatest of All Time - or GOAT - tournament on Tuesday night.
The 45-year-old software engineer turned author bested legendary champions James Holzhauer and Brad Rutter to win the $1 million grand prize.
He bet all of his 32,800 points on a "Final Jeopardy!" clue about Greece: “This area of Greece, home to Pan, is synonymous with a rural paradise; it’s a setting for Vergil’s shepherd poems the ‘Ecologues.’"
His gamble paid off handsomely when he correctly answered, "What is Arcadia?"
The three contestants in the competition were chosen for their record-setting performance on the popular quiz show.
Though Holzhauer and Rutter came up short, they didn't go home empty-handed.
They each took home $250,000 as runner-ups in the trivia showdown
Jennings won the first and third nights of the GOAT tournament last week, while Holzhauer won night two.
"It has taken 15 years for Ken Jennings to finally answer the question, 'Is he as good as he appeared to be in his great run on 'Jeopardy!'?" said host Alex Trebek as he handed Jennings the trophy.
Fans of the show will remember Jennings' record-setting win streak in 2004, where he won 74 straight games and appeared on the show for nearly six months.

According to Trebek, the GOAT contestants have appeared on Jeopardy! a total of 200 times, reported.
Despite their wealth of knowledge, the apparent "geniuses" were Tuesday night.
None of the men could correctly guess the question for the answer chosen from the "Albums" category - "What is, Jesus Is King?", West's ninth studio album released last October.
