A TEEN stabbed two people to death, including his foster mother, and bragged to friends he "killed a lady" during a shopping spree where he used her money, according to authorities.

Xavier Johnson was arrested for the murders of Renee Gilyard, 64, and pal Jimmy Mao, who had gone missing last month. Gilyard was the mother of a police officer.

Johnson, 17, was driving Gilyard's car through the streets of on Wednesday just hours after he took her life, law enforcement sources told the .

He and his friends ate at McDonald's and shopped at Foot Locker, where he spent more than $300, the newspaper reported.

"I killed a lady for all this and I took everything she had," Johnson told his pals during the shopping spree, according tot he Inquirer.

Johnson was taken into custody moments later when he crashed Gilyard's vehicle while being chased by police.

Gilyard's body was found Wednesday morning in her bathtub.

She was only his foster mother for three days before she was killed, according to .

"Losing her and imagining a kid so full of hate and rage at 17 years old, it's scary," neighbor Madeline Harris told the Inquirer. "Not just for me, but for the world."

The suspect is also accused of killing the 20-year-old Mao, who had lived with him in a different foster home. Mao's remains were found in a duffel bag on Wednesday night.

Investigators believe that a knife that was recovered may have been used in both murders.

Additionally, Jacob Merritt-Richburg, a 16-year-old boy who knows Mao, has been missing for a week, according to the Inquirer.
