Five patients and staff are attacked during ‘major incident’ at a medical centre
FIVE patients and staff were attacked during a "major incident" at a doctor's surgery today.
Cops rushed to the Parkside Medical Centre in Bletchley, near Milton Keynes, Bucks, just before 9am this morning.
Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries while three others were treated at the scene.
A man was arrested on suspicion of multiple assaults.
A spokesman for Parkside Medical Centre said: "We have had a major incident this morning and the practice will therefore be closed until further notice.
"Please be patient, we will contact you as soon as we can to re-schedule your appointment."
All appointments on Tuesday have been cancelled.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "At around 9am this morning a number of people were assaulted at the Parkside Medical Practice.

"Officers attended the scene and a man has been arrested on suspicion of multiple assaults, he remains in custody at this time.
"A number of people have been taken to hospital but none of their injuries appear to be life-threatening."
NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group added: "Patient update - Parkside Medical Centre is currently closed until further notice due to a major incident."
