Meghan Markle beams as she takes baby Archie and dogs for a walk as Harry flees UK to join her
SMILING Meghan and baby Archie took a hike yesterday as Prince Harry flew to join them at their £11million Canadian bolthole.
The former Suits star wrapped her eight-month-old son close to her chest against the winter chill in a baby sling while walking her dogs on a beautiful woodland trail.
She appeared happy and carefree as she soaked up the stunning scenery at Horth Hill Regional Park, a ten minute drive from her beachside mansion.
Harry, 35, and 38-year-old Meghan took their beagle Guy and a black Labrador - whose name they have never confirmed - to the exclusive island for their six-week break before Megxit.
The dogs were kept on leads yesterday as Meghan at one point struggled to contain boisterous Archie in the blue sling.
HAPPY SNAPS
Two royal protection officers watched from a discreet distance, pacing behind the happy family group.
Locals had spotted the wantaway royal couple out together on the trail before but yesterday’s sighting was the first time the duchess had been seen out with her baby.
She wore a black designer winter coat with matching leggings, hiking boots and an olive green beanie hat.
Archie was wrapped up against the blustery conditions in thick woolly leggings and boots, a white woolly hat and a blue waterproof coat.
I’d heard she and Harry walked around here when he was in town but I’ve never been lucky enough to see them.
Dog walker
The walk took place yesterday morning as Harry boarded a flight from London to join his loved ones after two weeks back in the UK thrashing out the Megxit deal with senior royals and aides.
The couple are expected to stay at the fabulous secluded mansion beside a beach - owned by a mystery pal - while fine-tuning plans for their future non-royal roles.
Sources close to the privacy-conscious couple say they will happily lie low there enjoying precious family time together before launching a strung of commercial ventures.
Meghan’s walk was along a trail off the beaten path away from a car park where dozens of local dog walkers stop regularly.
BEAUTIFUL SPOT
A local out dog walking in the park said last night: “I’d heard she and Harry walked around here when he was in town but I’ve never been lucky enough to see them.
“It’s a beautiful spot with wonderful woodland scenery and the perfect place to run your dogs and take in the fresh air.”
Meghan’s relaxed demeanour was on show again, days after pals told of her relief after shaking off the “soul-crushing” shackles of the royal family.
