DISTURBING footage appears to capture the moment ex NBA star Delonte West was savagely beaten up by another man on a Washington freeway, it's claimed.
In the video circulating social media, a man who appears to be the former basketball player is punched to the ground and kicked in the middle of the busy road.
A further clip shows West sitting at the roadside with his hands cuffed behind his back as he rants at the camera, claiming his alleged attacker "had a gun".
He then repeatedly shouts, "I don't give a f**k" when pressed for further details.
The footage comes after West was reportedly spotted begging for change in Maryland and wandering the streets of Texas without shoes.
According to entertainment news site West spent time in a "medical facility" in 2016 and has since tried to mount a comeback to the NBA.
West played for seven seasons in the NBA after getting drafted 24th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2004 NBA Draft.
