A teenage victim of Britain’s worst rapist has revealed how he got “payback” by beating the sex attacker almost to death before finally bringing him to justice.

The anonymous teen told Good Morning Britain he hopes sex beast Reynhard Sinaga will “never see the light again”.

Indonesian Sinaga, 36, was jailed for life in January for 136 rapes on 48 men aged 17 to 36 – and police fear there could be more victims.

Today, the young rugby player, who was drugged and attacked when he was just 18, told GMB how he was out with some friends at a Manchester nightclub in Manchester when Sinaga pounced on him.

During the night, he had lost his friends, so he had gone out of the club to try and contact them.

Sinaga approached him outside the club and invited him inside his flat to stay warm while he tried to contact his friends.

“As a fellow student, I felt like he was looking after me,” he said, adding he went with him as he saw no problem with him.

Once in the flat, Sinaga – who is thought to have preyed on at least 195 men, giving them the date-rape drug GHB before filming his attacks - offered him two shots.

The teen said the first one “was perfectly fine”, but after the second one he became dizzy.

When he woke up at around 6am, he said he found Sinaga "basically on top of me at this point".

He told GMB how he started beating the rapist in order to escape from the flat, attacking him with such ferocity that cops had initially arrested him on suspicion of GBH.

But as he fled the flat he picked up Sinaga’s phone by mistake, thinking it was his own. And it was this key piece of evidence that would bring the sex attacker to justice.

When police went through the rapist’s phone and they discovered videos of not just the teen’s assault, but those of many other men.

The victim said he realised he had been raped only once he got out of the flat.

“This was wrong, this didn’t happen normally,” he said.

When GMB presenter Piers Morgan asked if he was satisfied to know Sinaga was going to prison for a long time, the victim told him and Susanna Reid that he “got a bit of payback by beating him up”.

Piers said: “You did a great thing defending yourself in the way you did and you did an even better thing by accidentally taking his phone which led to him being stopped. And it’s an even better thing that he is now behind bars where he belongs, disgusting piece of work.”

The rape victim said after the attack, he tried to “get on with it” and added he is glad Sinaga “cannot do it with anyone else now”.

He said he had the support of his family and friends and encouraged more victims to come forward, saying: “We need to let it go out and say it’s not a bad thing, it’s not our fault, it’s his fault.”

Sinaga has been jailed for at least 30 years having been convicted across four trials of 159 offences – 139 rapes, eight attempted rapes, 14 sexual assaults, and one by penetration.
