Greta Thunberg is heading to Britain this week to take part in Bristol’s youth climate protest
TEENAGE ecology campaigner Greta Thunberg is coming to Britain this week to take part in a youth protest.
The 17-year-old Swede joins the Bristol Youth Strike 4 Climate on Friday on the city’s College Green.
Organiser Milly Sibson, 17, said: "We are all just so excited - everyone is so excited about the thought of hearing her talk.
"I would love the chance to meet her because she is the founder of this movement and she is so important to it.
"She is an idol even though she is younger than me.
"We really hope loads of people join us to welcome her to Bristol."
Milly said Greta had originally planned to visit London.

But the area planned for the protest in the capital was deemed too small, so organisers recommended Bristol instead.
And Bristol could be a perfect fit, with the city awarded the title of European Green Capital in 2015.
Last night Greta’s mum Malena Ernman revealed that her daughter was diagnosed as autistic when she would only eat portions of rice, avocado and gnocchi.
