Pornhub star Lynn Pleasant jailed for 10 years for trying to hire a hitman to murder her ex

A PORNSTAR has been sent down for ten years after she tried to hire a hitman to murder the father of one of her kids.

Washington adult actress Lynn Pleasant, whose real name Katrina Danforth, tried to pay the hitman $5,000 for a very specific kill.

The two communicated via phone call and text for a month, and Danforth sent a “thank you” card with $2,500 as an apparent down payment on the killing to his address in Montana.

The 32-year-old's plot was revealed when the hitman turned out to be an undercover police officer.

Court records show she allegedly made calls offering people money to kill the victim known only as R.H. on October 20, November 9, twice on November 10 and once on November 19.

Her friend then gave her a number of a so-called hitman, who she agreed to meet in October 2018.

Prosecutor Traci Whelan said: "On November 10, 2018, Danforth mailed a thank you card with $2,500 in it from Idaho to the hitman’s address in Montana," the  reported.

"This money was the down payment for the hit with the remaining $2,500 to be paid after RH was murdered."

A court document read: “At the meeting, she agreed to pay $5,000 in exchange for the murder."

It also noted that Pleasant had specific requirements for the hitman, including, "R.H's body had to be found and [she] did not care if others who lived in the home were harmed as long as her own child was not harmed."

The intended victim was not harmed and has not been named for safety reasons.

She was arrested at Spokane International Airport, Washington, on December 19, 2018, after spending eight days in Hawaii.

Defense attorneys argued Danforth had a troubled childhood, including sexual violence, prior to her involvement in adult films.

They said she had been training to become a paralegal while awaiting sentencing in federal court.

The 10-year sentence, passed down on Tuesday at a court in Idaho, also includes three years of probation and a $1,000 criminal fine.

According to her Twitter page, the porn star - who also uses the name Lynn Passion -  won the best part time amateur model gong at the Adult Webcam Awards in 2015.

She is understood to have appeared in adult films from 2005 and regularly posts about her work online.
