‘Kidnapped’ girl, 15, rescued after cops stop car on motorway in ‘tactical’ move as four held for child abduction
A MISSING 15-year-old girl was dramatically rescued by police after officers stopped a car on a motorway in a "tactical" move.
Officers pulled the vehicle over on the northbound junction of the M5 and M42 in Worcestershire and arrested four people on suspicion of child abduction.
Three men aged 21, 24 and 46 have been detained along with a 37-year-old woman.
All of the suspects are from Romania and they have been handed over to Northamptonshire Police.
The police Operations Patrol Unit in Worcestershire tweeted: "A shift assisted this evening with a tactical stop on this vehicle M5/M42.
"Four Romanians arrested and now in custody for the abduction of a 15year old. We will continue to tackle organised crime!"

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said: "Just after 5pm on March 5, a 15-year-old girl was reported missing. CCTV showed a vehicle picking her up in Corby.
"Later that evening, she was tracked to the London area and safeguarded.
"At about 10.15pm the same night, the vehicle in question, a silver MG ZT, was located in Warwickshire, near junction 4A of the M5.
"All of the occupants inside were arrested on suspicion of child abduction. They have since been released on bail pending further enquiries."
