There are a few obvious symptoms of the coronavirus and others which might not be so blatant.
The common signs, according to the NHS, are a high temperature, continuous, dry cough and shortness of breath.
According to the NHS, a dry mouth is often not a sign of anything serious.
There are several factors as to why a person may have a dry mouth including breathing through your mouth at night, taking certain medications, anxiety or cancer treatment.
However, a dry mouth can occur as a result of dehydration, which can be a result of being ill.

What should I do if I have a dry mouth and a fever or cough?
If you have a dry mouth together with either a fever and cough, it is recommended that you stay home for a period of seven days after symptoms began.
If you live with others, it is important you self isolate in a room and for all other people in the house to stay home for 14 days.
What should I do if I only have a dry mouth?
If you only have a dry mouth with no other symptoms related to coronavirus, there might be nothing to worry about.
The NHS has outlined a number of methods to rectify a dry mouth.
These include taking sips of water throughout the day and keeping water by your bed at night.
You are also advised to suck on ice cubes or ice lollies to help with a dry mouth.
Chewing sugar free gum or sucking on sugar free sweets can also prevent a dry mouth.

Common reported symptoms of the virus includes a high temperature.
If you feel hot to touch on your chest or back, you may have to take the necessary prescribed precautions.
A new dry persistent cough is also one of the most obvious symptoms of coronavirus.
The NHS says: "this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours."
If you usually have a cough, note that this may be worse than usual.
