The Department of Health today confirmed another 563 had died - meaning the rate has increased by another 50 per cent.

The number of people tested for the deadly disease in the UK has also now passed 150,000.
It comes as a 13-year-old boy became the UK's youngest coronavirus victim after dying from the disease at King's College Hospital in London on Monday.
Ismail Mohamed Abdulwahab, 13, from Brixton, South West London, had no underlying health conditions.
Tragically, his mum and six siblings were not able to be by his side in his final moments because of the contagiousness of the killer virus.
A spokesperson told The Sun Online today how the "very healthy" teenager had first fallen ill on March 23 with
Three days later, Ismail's condition worsened and he was rushed to hospital where medics put him on a ventilator.
The spokesperson added: "On Friday he tested positive for Covid-19 and was put into an induced coma.
"He died on Monday 30 March at 3am from a cardiac arrest."
TRAGIC DEATH
Well-wishers have now donated more than £50,000 to Ismail's heartbroken family on a page set up to help pay for his funeral costs.
It is the second tragedy to hit the family after Ismail's dad recently lost his fight against cancer.
Family friend Mark Stephenson, director at the Madinah College in Brixton, said the youngster had no underlying health conditions.
Speaking today on Good Morning Britain, he said: "One of the saddest things in this whole situation is that he died alone.
"When someone has this infection, they're in isolation so how difficult it is for a mum to not be with her son at this time when he's sick.
"Usually a mother will be at his bedside, staying overnight in the hospital."
Ismail is the second teenager to die from coronavirus in London after a "very healthy" chef passed away on March 24.
Luca Di Nicola, originally from Italy but living in North London, is one of the UK's youngest Covid-19 victim with no underlying health conditions.
The teenager had visited his GP with coronavirus symptoms last week but was reportedly given paracetamol and told he had "nothing to worry about".
But his condition worsened and he was rushed to North Middlesex Hospital after his lips "turned purple" and he collapsed.
The teen passed away the next day.
His dad Mirko Di Nicolahas told newspaper he has since received a letter from North Middlesex Hospital confirming his son had tested positive for the killer virus.
Paying tribute, he added: "Luca has been tested positive for coronavirus.
"Rest in piece my little angel, keep on flying. You are in our souls."

In England yesterday, the NHS confirmed the death rate had also more than doubled from 159 on Monday to 367.
Today's figures from the Department of Health only include those who have died in hospital after testing positive for the disease, so the true death toll is actually higher.
