A CORONAVIRUS critical care nurse sang “we will rise up” on a piano in a breath-taking performance to cheer up her heroic NHS colleagues.
The talented pianist, called Hannah, sang a cover of Andra Day’s Rise Up which includes uplifting lyrics to keep spirits high as her team battles coronavirus on the frontline.

A video of the singer’s heartwarming and inspiring performance at the Royal Papworth Hospital Charity in Cambridge has since gone viral.
While playing the piano, she sang: “You’re broken down and tired, of living life on a merry-go-round, and you can’t find the fighter.
“But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out, and move mountains, we gonna walk it out, and move mountains.

“And I’ll rise up, I'll rise like the day, I’ll rise up, I'll rise unafraid, I'll rise up, and I’ll do it a thousand times again.
“And I’ll rise up, high like the waves, I’ll rise up, in spite of the ache, I'll rise up, and I’ll do it a thousand times again, for you.”
Her stunning performance was met with a raucous applause from her colleagues who continue for treat Covid-19 patients.

The Royal Papworth Hospital Charity posted the heartwarming clip online and wrote: “One of our Critical Care superstars inspired her colleagues as she played the piano.
“Thank you Hannah for this beautiful reminder of perseverance and hope for all of the NHS staff in the fight against COVID-19.”
The light-hearted clip comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson was rushed to hospital with coronavirus "as a precaution".

Aides confirmed he was spending the night there and would remain “as long as necessary”.
