Footage shows more than a dozen people gathered together on a street in Ayrshire, Scotland.

Coronavirus Scotland: Drongan locals gathered on the street as one resident belted out karaoke

Crowds cheer and laugh when told they're flouting the two-metre rule put in place to prevent the spread of the deadly bug.

Two lads film on approach as they say they're going to "run the coronavirus gauntlet" in Dreghorn.

One appears to be on the phone to another pal and says: "F***ing hell man, this social distancing is no going well on Marble Avenue. Street's f***ing heaving."

'F***ING HEAVING'

A large crowd comes into shot and they cheer as one of the new arrivals asks: "What's happened to the self-isolation here? What's going on?"

"There's the locals. All the locals are out in force.

"There's no two metres between you over there anyway.

It comes after Scotland's Chief Medical Officer after being caught flouting government rules by on two consecutive weekends.

Appearing on BBC Breakfast, Ms Sturgeon was asked by Dan Walker about the public view that the "hypocritical" CMO should have been removed from the position straight away.

The First Minister earlier appeared on ITV's GMB, where  announcement.

The morning telly host pushed the First Minister on why she didn't fire the CMO as soon as she found out she'd breached the Scottish Government's lockdown rules.

The presenter asked why Sturgeon tried to defend Dr Calderwood and continued to pay a "glowing tribute" to her after her resignation last night.

Morgan said the former CMO's actions could have cost "god knows how many lives" and that she "completely betrayed" both the First Minister and Scotland.
