The Queen’s inspiring message lights up Piccadilly Circus to bring hope to Brits during coronavirus

THE Queen's inspiring message to the nation is getting another screening after being plastered over the world famous Piccailly billboards in London.

Millions watched the Queen's stirring TV address on Sunday which told Brits facing up the coronavirus crisis that there will be better times ahead.

Several memorable extracts from the landmark message will appear on the famous billboards for the next 10 days.

The Piccadilly Lights are a tourist attraction famed for their flashing adverts since 1908.

Inspiring quotes from the Queen will include: "We will be with our friends again; we will be with our family again.

We will meet again." And: "We should take comfort that while we may have more still to endure, better days will return."

The rolling quotes also include special praise for hero NHS workers and front-line staff.

The Queen said: "I want to thank everyone on the NHS front line as well as those carrying out essential roles."

The cost is being met by Piccadilly Lights' owners Landsec and billboard firm Ocean Outdoor.

Messages will be screened between 10am and 6pm until Sunday April 19.

It is the first time the digital screen has carried a direct message from Her Majesty The Queen.

Derek Manns, commercial media manager at Landsec, said: "We’re proud to be sharing the Queen’s message of support for the nation on Piccadilly Lights.

"We hope it will provide some light for Londoners as we continue to work through these unprecedented times.”

Richard Malton, CMO of Ocean Outdoor which operates the lights, said: "The Queen’s address to the nation was inspirational and reassuring.

"It has been an honour working with the Palace to make this happen." Around 24 million people watched Sunday evening’s TV broadcasts.
