THIS is the horrifying moment gunmen shoot into a packed takeaway while chasing a rival gang.
Shocking footage shows two hooded thugs fire into DFC chicken shop in the Handsworth area of Birmingham in broad daylight.
Terrified customers sprinted out of the store and staff members jumped for cover during the shootout.
Cops believe the incident at 6pm last night was targeted and have launched a desperate hunt for the gunmen.
CCTV footage recorded from inside the takeaway shows three men chasing a group inside the building.
Shots appear to be fired from two firearms, including what could be a sub-machine gun.
Fortunately, no customers or staff inside the shop were hurt. They could have been innocent victims of what we believe was a targeted attack between groups.

The rival gang, a group of six men, was seen jumping over the counter in a desperate bid to escape the gunmen.
Moments later the three attackers ran over to small blue getaway car and the six other men fled the shop before the police arrived.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We’re appealing for information after gun shots were fired in a shop in Handsworth yesterday.
"We were called to reports of three men chasing a group of others into DFC Chicken, in Rookery Road, just before 6pm.
"Shots were fired and the trio of offenders fled.

"It is believed to have been a targeted attack between different groups and CCTV enquiries are under way."
Inspector Jim Church added: "We’re following a number of lines of enquiry but I would urge anyone who knows those involved to contact us.
