Gwyneth Paltrow has refused to furlough any of her London staff

She follows singer Ed Sheeran, 29, who we revealed this week had rejected any Government subsidy for his restaurant and bar Bertie Blossom.

Both have left Victoria Beckham, worth £335 million, looking increasingly isolated after she decided to put 30 staff on the taxpayer-funded furlough scheme to pay the bulk of their wages.

When asked by The Sun if she was going to use the UK government bailout, her representative confirmed: “We did not furlough staff in London.”

Gwyneth first launched Goop in 2008 as a weekly newsletter offering fans her lifestyle recommendations when she lived close to the store’s location.

But it grew quickly into a major commercial venture and has four stores in the USA as well as a web store.
