When is Mother's Day?
This year Mother's Day falls on May 10.
The day was created in 1908, when Anna Jarvis, the founder of the holiday, held a memorial for her mom at St Andrews Church in Virginia.
Anna's mom had always said that she wanted a Mother's Day, so after she died Anna started the movement in honor of her mom.
In 1914 President Woodrow Wilson signed a bill declaring Mother's Day as a national holiday.
Since then many other countries across the world have adopted the day, making it their own and adding personal quirks.
