A 19-YEAR-OLD boy was stabbed to death in broad daylight in South East London.
Police were scrambled to the scene after reports of a fight in Southwark at 5.30pm on Wednesday.
But tragically, officers found the victim - believed to be a 19-year-old man - with fatal stab injuries.
Met Police confirmed a 15-year-old boy had been arrested on suspicion of murder, as well as an 18-year-old girl, a 17-year-old boy and 20-year-old man.
They remain in police custody today.
Detective Chief Inspector Kate Kieran, investigating, said: "This incident happened in broad daylight and would have been witnessed by a large number of people.
"I know that many would have been concerned by the sound of the altercation and gone to look out the window to see what was happening.
"It is imperative that we understand exactly what happened that has led to a young man losing his life. His family need answers and we need to provide them."
Borough Commander for the Central South Command Colin Wingrove added: "This is a horrific incident and our first thoughts are with the victim’s family, who have lost a loved one in tragic circumstances. We are committed to bringing them the justice they deserve."
A spokesperson confirmed they had been called to Great Dover Street where a "number of males were fighting".
They said: "When officers attended a man was found at the location with stab injuries.
"The man, believed to be aged 19 years, was pronounced dead at the scene."

Formal identification and a post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
The victim's next of kin have been informed.
