What time is the coronavirus press briefing?

The Government's daily coronavirus briefing will be held just after 5pm today, Thursday, May 28.

They always take place at at Downing Street and have been taking place daily since March 16.

The briefing gives the nation the latest news in the coronavirus battle.

Who is speaking?

Tonight Prime Minister, Boris Johnson will be leading the press briefing along with Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak and Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Jenny Harries.

The Government will address the country via a live broadcast on all the latest pandemic updates.

The Prime Minister is expected to update the British public on the next phase of easing lockdown and review previous restrictions which have included unlimited exercise allowed outdoors.
