As one of the women was shoved and spat on by a man in a brown jacket, an attacker dressed in black spreads out his arms and shouts: "I'm going to f*** you up."

Another of the men can be seen kicking out at clothing on the ground.

The terrified victims can be seen trying to get away as the thugs swear and lash out.

The disgusting incident happened as statue-row protesters clashed with police in central London yesterday after Black Lives Matter campaigners gathered in Hyde Park.

But the group having a picnic in the park don't appear to be part of any protests.

Actor Tom Norman filmed the incident and posted it on Twitter, calling the gang "vile".

He said: "Just as I entered Hyde Park so did this hoard.

"There isn’t even a protest on for them to protest against.

"Vile.

"Video blurred as I got pushed. Thankfully the Met Police arrived and they ran for the hills."

Met Police officials say the incident is under investigation.

A spokesperson said: "Officers are aware of this footage and are making enquiries.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact the Met."

During a day of violence on the streets of London, gangs of men fought running battles with rival activists and charged at riot cops. More than 100 were arrested.

There were ugly scenes throughout the day as groups of men tried to get to Black Lives Matter protesters while police tried to block them.

Eventually, despite the efforts of officers, the two groups clashed.

'JUST VILE'

Crowds of pro-statue campaigners surrounded the monument of Winston Churchill before heading for the Cenotaph, where they rushed up to the police blockade and pelted them with bottles and cans while chanting.

The group, made up of war veterans, football fans and far-right organisations including Britain First, joined together in clear breach of social-distancing guidelines.

Flares and smoke bombs were thrown and fights broke out.

Amid the violence, a white man thought to be with the group claiming its mission was to protect London statues was slammed for urinating on PC Keith Palmer's memorial.

MP Tobias Ellwood shared a photograph of the disgusting incident on Twitter today - and called for help to identify the culprit.

Police confirmed today that a 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of outraging public decency.

PC Palmer was knifed to death by a terrorist during the Westminster attack.

In total, 113 people were arrested yesterday, officials confirmed this afternoon.

The arrests were made for a range of offences, including breach of the peace, violent disorder, assault on officers, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of class A drugs and being drunk and disorderly.

During the course of the day, 23 officers were injured, none seriously.

Met Police commander Bas Javid said: "The scenes officers encountered across central London yesterday were utterly shocking.

"Once again, they were pelted with missiles, or challenged by groups of men intent on violence.

“Mindless hooliganism such as this is totally unacceptable and I am pleased arrests were made. We will now work closely with the courts in pursuit of justice."
