Justice Department files for emergency restraining order against Bolton after explosive Trump book excerpts revealed

THE Justice Department has filed an emergency application for a temporary restraining order to block former national security adviser John Bolton's bombshell memoir.

The emergency restraining order application was filed on Wednesday following the publication of explosive excerpts in multiple news outlets earlier that day.

On Tuesday, the day before the emergency restraining order application was filed, the DOJ had filed a lawsuit claiming that the publication of the classified material contained in the memoir would violate Bolton's non-disclosure agreement with the .
