Family’s horror at discovering ‘mould’ on the bottom of their takeaway pizza

A FAMILY was left horrified after munching through their takeaway pizza – only to discover it was covered in what appeared to be MOULD.

Lottie Newstead and partner James Shorter decided to treat themselves after getting a leaflet through their door about a new takeaway company.

They ordered a chicken, chicken tikka and sweetcorn pizza and a kebab as part of a meal deal and started tucking in.

But when their one-year-old daughter Olivia-Skye dropped a piece of pizza they noticed a strange colour on the base.

Lottie, 20, of Newhall, Derbys., said: "I'd been pestering James for a kebab all week. We usually have one as a family once a week as a treat.
