DONALD Trump slammed NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio's plans to paint a Black Lives Matter mural outside Trump Tower in a "matter of days."
On Wednesday, the President blasted on Twitter for saying the giant message would be directed at him in an earlier interview.
De Blasio declared his intention to create a large activist painting along Fifth Avenue, between 56th and 57th streets on s Morning Joe.
But Trump lambasted the mayor's scheme, as well as his 's $6 billion budget.
"And yet the @NYCMayor is going to paint a big, expensive, yellow Black Lives Matter sign on Fifth Avenue, denigrating this luxury Avenue," the President raged.
"This will further antagonize New York’s Finest, who LOVE New York & vividly remember the horrible BLM chant, 'Pigs In A Blanket, Fry ‘Em Like Bacon.'
"Maybe our GREAT Police, who have been neutralized and scorned by a mayor who hates & disrespects them, won’t let this symbol of hate be affixed to New York’s greatest street. Spend this money fighting crime instead!"
Trump's dig came as NYC City Council approved a $1 billion budget cut to the NYPD on Wednesday morning.
De Blasio and Trump's Twitter feud continued as the mayor responded "the fact that you see it as denigrating your street is the definition of racism."
"Here’s what you don’t understand: Black people BUILT 5th Ave and so much of this nation," de Blasio claimed.
"Your 'luxury' came from THEIR labor, for which they have never been justly compensated. We are honoring them."
Trump had blasted the mayor in the wake of his morning interview with Joe Scarborough, when he bragged about the mural being done "in a matter of days."
"I know you come from , Donald Trump's new state," de Blasio said. "But whenever he comes back to his old state, he'll get a message that he still doesn’t understand.
"Maybe seeing it outside his doorstep will help him get the point.”
De Blasio's dig at Trump comes after over a month of in stemming from 's police custody death in .
"Obviously he is doing it to antagonize the president," a source told the .
"This is what he is concerned about while the city burns. What an amateur politician."
The source told the outlet that the mayor's office had reached out to the Department of Transportation about the likelihood of the but it was mentioned that de Blasio wanted it done.

The plan was allegedly finalized last week and is set to be appear outside of Trump Tower before the July 4 weekend.
Two other murals are set to emerge in Manhattan, with the others being etched along Centre Street in Lower Manhattan and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard in Harlem.
was recently painted in large yellow letters on the floor of Fulton Street in Brooklyn.
The artwork was almost identical to the mural that , which was painted on 16th Street and was officially dubbed " Plaza."
The civil unrest in the Big Apple culminated in violent clashes between protesters and police on the streets of Gotham weeks after de Blasio announced his intention to divert $1 billion from the NYPD's budget.
Later, NY Governor acknowledged local government's inability to enforce social distancing compliance during the pandemic before .
"It took a long time but we're here now," Cuomo told reporters. "Send that message to Mr Trump, [that] black lives matter [and] excessive force has to stop."
The governor acknowledged that he supported painting slogans and protest on the streets as he urged officials to reform and change the NYPD.
"Do something!" he said, emphasizing that a plan had to be in place in nine months to align with the budget. "Welcome to government. Can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
"The protesters are saying 'I want a new police department,'" he continued, citing the NYPD's "use of force policy demilitarization, bias training, and deescalation."
Cuomo's comments came after officers clashed with BLM demonstrators on July 1 who locked down the streets by Police Plaza.
Protesters congregated at the City Hall as part of the "Defund NYPD" and "Occupy City Hall" movement.
On Tuesday, shocking footage emerged showing cops trying to push protesters off the streets in a violent clash.
The NYPD TARU were seen leaving headquarters as a booming loudspeaker message rang out urging people to stop blocking vehicles.
Hundreds of riot police can be seen pushing people out of the street and towards the park they were camped in.
At one point, a female protester can be heard screaming "hit me" at the cops who attempted to control the crowd.
People were arrested, while others screamed in officers' faces with masks halfway down their chins during Tuesday's fraught demonstration.
Some police fell and tripped during the brutal interaction on June 30.
Videographer Adam Balhetchet, who filmed the event, told The Sun how people "chased, surrounded, harassed me for doing my job."
"Police escorted me to police headquarters for my own safety from the protestors and I got out of there eventually," Balhetchet recalled.
News of the violence emerged while New York residents contend with a scourge of fireworks in the five boroughs, which NY Governor likened to during on Monday.
An NYPD source, who did not wish to be named, exclusively told The Sun but also, to show residents the reality of their calls to defund and disband US police departments.

"I'd say a small part is that it's a message to the people, showing them what NYC will look like if they get what they want," the insider said.
"But more so, that police aren't willing to risk their livelihood to enforce a nonviolent, victimless crime.
"Public safety is at risk, but if we took enforcement action against someone setting off fireworks, the community would combat us because they're trying to have fun during a pandemic and we're out arresting them for just setting off fireworks."
