COPS have revealed stunning footage of Seattle's forceful "CHOP" zone cleanout after violence surged inside the "autonomous zone" where 13 people were arrested.
Seattle Police shared videos of the chaos which took place in the city's occupied zone - Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP).
In one video clip, one man is heard saying: "More shots fire, I'm running away."
After multiple shots were fired in the background, what sounds like the same man says: "This has got to be the end of CHOP in my opinion. This second shooting.
“I think it’s pretty much over after this. This is kind of a nightmare.”
Another clip showed people screaming and fighting.
Gunshots were also spotted on cars and people were seen toting guns in the streets in Seattle, Washington.
On Wednesday, the Seattle Police Department : "Due to ongoing violence and public safety issues in the East Precinct/Cal Anderson Park area.
"Mayor Jenny Durkan has issued an executive order to vacate the area. Seattle police will be in the area this morning enforcing the Mayor’s order."
Demonstrations started in the "CHOP" zone on June 8th - prompting robberies, assaults, and other violent crimes, according the police department.
"CHOP" was originally called the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,” or “CHAZ,” by protesters until it was changed.
Protesters had cordoned off the several-block area near a police station after violent clashes with cops.
They took over the area after cops abandoned the East Precinct building and a “” mural was painted on the street.
Seattle police added in followup tweets on Wednesday: "Two teenagers have been killed and three people have been seriously wounded in late-night shootings.
"Because suspects in recent shootings may still be in the area, and because numerous people in the area are in possession of firearms, Seattle Police officers involved in this morning’s response will be equipped with additional protective gear."
On Monday, 16-year-old Antonio Mays Jr. was fatally shot inside "CHOP" and a boy, 14, was left in critical condition from the shooting.
Last week, Seattle Mayor to CHOP and pleaded with protesters to leave.
