Brit special forces ‘unnerving’ ISIS by blasting them with Bollywood music
Pakistani-born British intelligence officer recommended that soldiers play the genre as it was banned by ISIS
BRITISH troops are trying to oust ISIS from Libya by forcing them to listen to loud Bollywood music.
According to Brit fighters, the blaring tunes are “freaking out” the sick extremists.
The soldiers are trying to flush out the jihadis from the Libyan town of Sirte.
The strange tactic was adopted after a Pakistani-born British intelligence officer told them that the music would annoy the monsters.
Bollywood music is mostly referred to as Hindi film songs as the genre originates from India and Pakistan.
But the style of music has been banned in many strict Muslim areas for being un-religious.
ISIS, who use the conservative Sharia law system believe Bollywood music to be too frivolous.
The Taliban also banned the musical genre.
The psychological operations unit of the armed forces managed to infiltrate the extremists’ communications network.
They were then able to drown out lines of communication, flooding the line with Bollywood music instead.
The joint team of Libyan and British troops also decked out two cars with massive speakers and left them blaring close to ISIS checkpoints.
They were able to control the music through remote control.
