Woman screams at prolific child sex abuser as he is jailed for a minimum of 25yrs
Richard Huckle, 30, volunteered in Asian orphanages to abuse kids as young as THREE
A WOMAN screamed at serial paedophile Richard Huckle 'a thousand deaths is too good for you' as he was jailed for molesting up to 200 kids.
The woman, a friend of one of Huckle's tiny victims, shouted "I know one of those families" as he was led to the cells.
He was jailed for 22 life sentences for admitting 71 counts of child abuse.
Huckle, 30, who volunteered at Christian orphanages in Asia to abuse his young victims, clasped his hands in prayer as he was sentenced by Judge Peter Rook QC at the Old Bailey.
His sentence only carries a minimum of 25 years meaning the evil perv could be free by his mid-50s.
Huckle admitted 71 charges against 23 children last week - but the true number of victims is believed to be closer to 200.
A further 20 charges were left on file.
The judge told him: "You have pleaded guilty to as many as 71 sexual offences.
"It is very rare indeed that a judge has to sentence sexual offending by one person on such a scale as this.
"Relentlessly, you preyed upon the very young - pre-pubescent vulnerable children from a minority ethnic community into which you ingratiated yourself.
"This was a prolonged campaign of rape of the children from a small community."
He said Huckle was consumed by and obsessed with his own sexual gratification and his "campaign of rape" was of "deep concern".
He added: "In my view, you may well harbour feelings of regret but there is no feeling of genuine remorse in this case."
Huckle has already spent 488 days in jail, so faces more than 23 years behind bars before a parole board can consider his release.
Days before his sentencing, he wrote the court a letter saying he did not want to be a "martyr for child sex tourism".
In the letter dated May 23, he described himself as having "low self esteem and lack of confidence with women", although he said that was "no excuse".
He wrote that he was "gullible" and "easily influenced" by external factors.
He went on: "I am regretful, remorseful and eager to be rehabilitated from this offending behaviour."
James Traynor, from the NCA's Child Exploitation and Online Protection command, said:
"Richard Huckle spent several years integrating himself into the community in which he lived, making himself a trusted figure.
"But he abused that trust in the worst possible way.
"He deliberately travelled to a part of the world where he thought he could abuse vulnerable children without being caught.
