A DERANGED man admitted to authorities to killing two mothers of his children, including one that was six weeks pregnant.
Davone Unique Anderson, 25, from Carlisle, , admitted to detectives that he shot and killed Sydney Parmelee, 23, on July 5, because he believed she was cheating on him.
Anderson also told detectives that he gunned down Kaylee Lyons, 23, who was six weeks pregnant over fears that she might tell police about Parmelee’s .
, the 25-year-old shot and killed Parmelee at a home in Carlisle, and killed Lyons at the same house weeks later.
In the arrest papers, the officers said Parmelee’s body was found lying on a couch just before 4:45pm. According to police, she was shot in the head.
A gun was found nearby, as was a spent bullet casing, detectives said.
Both women had been classmates at Carlisle High School, from which they graduated from in 2014.
Parmelee, who was a nursing student at Harrisburg Area Community College, gave birth to Anderson’s baby boy in March. She and Anderson also had a daughter, according to her .
Anderson initially told detectives that Parmelee had followed him to Lyons’ home where the two of them had an argument.
He said he went outside to smoke when he heard a gunshot come from inside the home.
Anderson then said he saw Parmelee’s body on the couch next to his and Lyons’ 14-month-old son and quickly ran to his mother’s home where he told her to call 911.
Evidence at the scene indicated Parmelee’s death wasn’t a suicide, detectives said.
A review of Parmelee’s cellphone messages showed, “there was no evidence that Parmelee wanted to commit suicide,” investigators said.
Officials also noted there was no gunpowder burns or other marks on Parmelee’s body to indicate she shot herself at point blank range.
On July 30, around 9:15pm Lyons was found on the floor of the same home where Parmelee was killed, with a gunshot wound to the head.
Anderson was arrested driving around in Lyons Honda Civic soon after her killing.
